Under Draft Decree, health information and data in the National Database on Insurance of Vietnam includes: Shared category data in the healthcare sector; Information and data on health facilities; Health personnel data; Personal medical record data; Health examination and treatment; and Data format description and data transmission in the healthcare sector. To be specific:

1. Shared category data in the healthcare sector:

- Data on technical services, examination services, and hospital beds;

- Data on medical supplies, chemicals, and biological products;

- Data on medical devices;

- Data on drugs: modern medicine, traditional medicine, blood and blood products;

- Data on drugs with registration numbers for circulation in Vietnam;

- Data on the approval results of drug selection, medicinal materials, chemicals, biological products, medical supplies, medical devices;

- Data on declared prices, re-declared pharmaceutical products, medicinal materials, chemicals, biological products, medical supplies, medical devices;

- Data on drug usage instructions attached to the drug registration dossier licensed by the Ministry of Health; diagnosis and treatment guidelines of the Ministry of Health;

- Data on importing, manufacturing, and trading units of pharmaceuticals, medicinal materials, chemicals, biological products, medical supplies, and medical devices;

- Data on disease codes, disease groups, and chapters of diseases;

- International surgery, procedure categories;

- Data on codes for hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, diagnostic imaging, and endoscopy examinations; body position categories;

- List of cost-based groups of medical services;

- List of Department’s codes;

- List of codes of accidents and injuries;

- List of codes of procurements and drug categories;

- Data on health facilities;

- Other shared category data related to the healthcare sector issued by the Ministry of Health.

2. Information and data on health facilities:

- General Information and data on health facilities;

- Data on drug and medical supplies procurement results;

- Data on approved technical services;

- Data on infrastructure;

- Data on the list of medical devices.

3. Health personnel data.

4. Personal medical record data; health examination and treatment:

- Personal medical record data: preventive medicine, vaccination data, infectious disease data, non-communicable disease data, medical examination data, disease category data, examination records of the population data;

- Health examination and treatment data: Clinical medical data of patients, test results, diagnostic images;

- Data on medical examination and treatment expenses; Health Insurance-covered treatment expenses.

5. Data format description and data transmission in the healthcare sector.
