Vietnam: Financial support for training human resources in supporting industry from January 01, 2016

According to the Decree No. 111/2015/NĐ-CP of the Vietnam’s Government, the development of human resources in the production of supporting industry products on the list of supporting industry products prioritized for development is specified as follows:

Human training for supporting industry:

- Supporting products manufacturing projects under the List shall be funded for human training from the Supporting Industry Development Program.

- Individuals who directly perform duties of the Supporting Industry Development Program shall be provided with advanced training in both Vietnam and abroad under the State training programs.

Training Institutions for supporting industry:

- Organizations, investors and joint venture corporations are encouraged by the State to establish training Institutions directly serving in production of supporting products.

- Training institutions serving in manufacturing supporting products shall be received aid/assistance assisted from Science and Technology Fund, Training Fund and others;

- Universities, Research Institutes, existing training institutions are encouraged to provide force in the supporting industry with advanced training.

Thus, it can be seen that the State highly encourages and actively supports in the training and development of human resources in the project of manufacturing supporting industrial products on the List of supporting industry products prioritized for development. Particularly, financial support from the Supporting Industry Development Program for human resource training.
