Additionally, each year, owners of dams and hydropower reservoirs are responsible for reviewing and adjusting the emergency response plan to submit to the receiving authority before April 1 each year for dams and hydropower reservoirs located in the Northern, North Central, Central Highlands, and Southern regions; and before August 1 each year for dams and hydropower reservoirs located in the South-Central region.

Also according to Circular 09/2019/TT-BCT, each year, owners of dams and hydropower reservoirs are responsible for reviewing and approving the natural disaster response plan before April 15 for dams and hydropower reservoirs located in the Northern, North Central, Central Highlands, and Southern regions; and before August 15 each year for dams and hydropower reservoirs located in the South-Central region.
