The organizational structure of the Division of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at healthcare facilities in Vietnam under Article 4 of Circular 13/2012/TT-BYTincludes the following rooms:
- Level I and special-level hospitals must have a complete Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care as stated above. Level II hospitals must have a Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care with a minimum of four divisions as specified in Points a, c, d, and đ in Article 4 of Circular 13/2012/TT-BYT. Level III, IV hospitals, or hospitals that have not been categorized must have a minimum of two divisions as specified in Points c and d in Article 4 of Circular 13/2012/TT-BYT, which are part of a clinical division that performs surgery and procedures. Other healthcare facilities that are allowed to perform surgery and procedures, in addition to the provisions in Points 2, 3, and 4 of Article 4 of Circular 13/2012/TT-BYT, must ensure that anesthesia and intensive care activities are carried out in accordance with the professional technical regulations stipulated in this Circular.
