From February 10, 2019, Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) regulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in mechanical engineering and related fields takes effect.

Pursuant to the Regulations on the minimum volume of knowledge, and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in Metal Cutting Technology profession issued together with Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum level of autonomy and responsibility that learners need to achieve after graduating in Metal Cutting Technology at the college level is as follows:
- Work independently or in groups, solve complex tasks and problems in changing working conditions;
- Guide and supervise others in accomplishing specified tasks at the workplace;
- Take personal responsibility and accountability to the group for assigned work results;
- Evaluate the quality of work upon completion and the performance of team members;
- Proactively plan and organize work execution;
- Adhere to organizational discipline and exhibit industrial working style;
- Cooperate and assist colleagues, continuously improve professional knowledge;
- Be dynamic, creative in the work process, demonstrate teamwork spirit, and flexibly apply learned knowledge into practical production.
