In accordance with the regulation on the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in the field of industrial electronics, as issued in Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, industrial electronics at the college level is a field in which practitioners carry out the installation, maintenance, servicing, and operation of electrical, electronic equipment, control devices of industrial systems, security surveillance systems, safety warning systems, industrial communication systems, and solar power systems, meeting the requirements of level 5 in the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework.
Practitioners in Industrial Electronics often work in industrial environments such as factories, enterprises, export processing zones, and high-rise buildings. Therefore, they must be capable of working independently, organizing teamwork, maintaining professional ethics, demonstrating industrial working habits, practicing energy conservation, and protecting the environment.
Minimum knowledge volume: 2,200 hours (equivalent to 79 credits).
After graduation, learners have the competency to meet the requirements at job positions within the field, including:
- Assembling electrical-electronic products;- Operating electrical, electronic equipment;- Installing and connecting electronic devices;- Maintaining and servicing electronic devices;- Repairing electronic devices;- Trading and servicing electronic equipment.
Additionally, the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements for graduates in Industrial Electronics at the college level can further develop at higher levels. Graduates possess the ability for self-study and updating scientific and technological advancements within the industry to enhance their skills or pursue further education in higher levels within the same field, group of fields, or within the same training area.
