Standard Test Procedure for Electromagnetic Compatibility of DECT Equipment

On October 17, 2017, the Ministry of Information and Communications promulgated Circular 26/2017/TT-BTTTT stipulating the National Technical Regulation on Electromagnetic Compatibility for DECT Devices.

According to Circular 26/2017/TT-BTTTT, the conventional measurement and control method is carried out as follows:

- For all types of DECT equipment, the desired signal at the input must be an RF carrier wave set at the nominal center of one of the DECT RF channels, using Gaussian shaped frequency-shift keying modulation (BT = 0.5) and modulated with a bit sequence at a rate of 1,152 kbit/s.- The bit sequence decoding must comply with the decoding method specified in standards ETSI EN 300 175-2 and ETSI EN 300 175-3.- The portion of the digital input signal sequence to be transmitted must be a bit sequence matching the D-M2 pattern as specified in ITU-T Recommendation O.153 and must be echoed, in accordance with the loopback test message as described in standard ETSI EN 300 175-3.- The frame timing of this carrier must comply with the limits set forth in standard ETSI EN 300 175-2.
