Recently, Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH was issued by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs (BLDTBXH) to regulate the minimum amount of knowledge and the competency requirements that students must achieve upon graduation from intermediate and college levels in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, and telecommunications.

According to the regulation on the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that students must achieve upon graduation from intermediate and college levels in the field of industrial electronics, issued with Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum skill requirements for graduates in the intermediate level of industrial electronics are as follows:
- Able to use equipment ensuring occupational safety, industrial hygiene, and fire prevention in the field of Industrial Electronics;
- Able to read technical drawings in the field of industrial electronics (detailed drawings, assembly diagram drawings, schematic drawings);
- Able to operate electrical and electronic equipment in industrial production lines;
- Able to install and connect electronic devices in industrial production lines as regulated;
- Able to maintain and repair electronic devices as required by the job;
- Able to replace application circuits;
- Able to use specialized software in Industrial Electronics;
- Able to maintain some industrial robots;
- Able to use basic information technology as regulated; exploit, process, and apply information technology in professional work in the field;
- Able to use basic foreign language skills at level 1/6 in the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework; able to apply foreign languages in professional work in the field.
Additionally, it specifies the minimum level of autonomy and responsibility that students must achieve upon graduation as follows:
- Have a sense of civic responsibility, proper attitude, and professional ethics;
- Have scientific working methods, be able to analyze and solve new issues in the field of Industrial Electronics;
- Be dynamic, confident, diligent at work, cooperative, friendly, and humble in relationships;
- Be responsible for the quality of the work and products assigned according to regulated standards;
- Be responsible for evaluating the quality of their completed work, the results of their own performance, and part of the work of the team members before the leadership of the agency, organization, or unit;
- Have a sense of learning and training to enhance professional qualifications and career skills.
