Skills Requirements After Graduation for Intermediate-Level Maintenance of Mechanical Equipment Systems

On February 10, 2019, Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) stipulating the minimum knowledge volume and requirements for competencies that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in mechanical engineering fields, takes effect.

In the Regulation on Minimum Knowledge Volume, Competency Requirements that Learners Must Achieve After Graduating from Intermediate-Level and College-Level in Mechanical Equipment System Maintenance issued with Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum skills that learners must achieve after graduating in intermediate-level in Mechanical Equipment System Maintenance are stipulated as follows:

- Ability to read assembly drawings and related documents for maintenance work;

- Develop technological schemes for maintenance, repair of simple incidents to ensure stable operation of mechanical equipment;

- Install, test run, and hand over the mechanical equipment system following the plan;

- Conduct regular maintenance, periodic maintenance, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs of mechanical equipment according to technical procedures;

- Monitor the technical status of the mechanical equipment system after installation, operation, regular maintenance, and periodic maintenance;

- Record the technical status log of parts and assemblies in mechanical transmission systems, control systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, etc. during operation;

- Monitor technical status during operation, promptly detect and handle abnormal signs of mechanical equipment;

- Record and track the technical status of mechanical equipment after maintenance, repair according to regulations;

- Apply scientific and technical advancements in professional activities to enhance production quality and efficiency;

- Organize and implement good safety, industrial hygiene, and fire and explosion prevention work;

- Use basic information technology as prescribed; exploit, process, and apply information technology in professional work of the sector;

- Use basic foreign languages at level 1/6 in the Vietnamese foreign language proficiency framework; apply foreign languages in professional work of the sector.
