The organization for inspection of telecommunications equipment and radio stations (hereinafter referred to as the inspection organization) is a public service provider engaging in technical services under a state management agency, fully meeting the conditions for inspection services business as prescribed by law, and authorized by the Ministry of Information and Communications to carry out inspection work.

To be specific, in Article 11 of Circular 07/2020/TT-BTTTT, it clearly states that telecommunications equipment and radio station inspection organizations should have the following responsibilities:
- Conduct appraisal, issuance, supervision, and revocation of the Inspection Certificate according to applicable regulations.- Develop a database for online updating of telecommunications equipment and radio station inspection results of the inspection unit.- Publicize on the electronic information portal regarding inspection-related content, including: inspection record forms; appraisal and issuance procedures for the Inspection Certificate; information on telecommunications equipment and radio stations that have been issued, temporarily suspended, revoked, and not issued with the Inspection Certificate.- Be legally responsible for the appraisal results and issuance of the Inspection Certificate.- Develop a database on inspected telecommunications equipment and radio stations.- Quarterly compile and report in writing, either on paper or electronically, to the Department of Telecommunications on the implementation status of telecommunications equipment and radio station inspection.- Report on matters related to the inspection work as requested by competent authorities.
In addition to the above responsibilities, the inspection organization also has the duty to monitor telecommunications equipment and radio stations that have been issued the Inspection Certificate, and must comply with regulations on the supervision of telecommunications equipment and radio stations as follows:
- The inspection organization is responsible for supervising and cooperating with state management agencies to monitor telecommunications equipment and radio stations that have been issued the Inspection Certificate when put into operation and use.
- The inspection organization must notify state management agencies upon detecting that telecommunications equipment and radio stations, though issued with the Inspection Certificate, no longer conform to national technical standards.
