On February 10, 2019, Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs stipulating the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate level and college level in fields of materials, metallurgy, production, and other technical technology sectors will take effect.
Responsibilities and Employment after Graduation from College in Ship Hull Construction Technology - Illustration
As per the Regulation on the minimum volume of knowledge, competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the intermediate level, and college level in the field of ship hull construction technology issued together with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum degree of autonomy and responsibility that learners must achieve after graduating from the college level in ship hull construction technology are as follows:
- Able to work independently or as part of a team, solve complex tasks, and address issues in changing working conditions at various positions in the profession;
- Guide and supervise others in performing specified tasks; take personal responsibility and responsibility towards the team;
- Responsible for evaluating the quality of work after completion as well as the performance results of oneself and team members before the leadership of the agency, organization, unit;
- Have the mindset to continuously learn and train to improve professional knowledge and vocational skills.
At the same time, following graduation, learners have the ability to meet the requirements of job positions in the industry, including:
- Processing ship hulls;
- Assembling ship hulls;
- Assembling ship bodies on the slipway;
- Launching ships;
- Supervising ship technical aspects.
Additionally, the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from college-level ship hull construction technology can continue to develop at higher levels; post-graduation, learners have the ability to self-study, self-update scientific and technological advancements within the industry to enhance their level or undertake bridging courses to higher levels within the same group of fields or in the same training domain.
