In the regulations of the minimum required knowledge and competency that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in the ship hull manufacturing technology sector, issued with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge that learners must achieve after graduating in the ship hull manufacturing technology sector at the intermediate level is as follows:
- Describe the basic parameters representing the shape of the ship hull;
- Identify structural types and the assembly position of each hull structure;
- Explain the method for developing the ship hull shape;
- Explain the method for detailing structural components and hull plating;
- Describe the overall shipbuilding technology process;
- Explain the basic content of assembly methods and common discrepancies encountered during hull assembly;
- Describe the process for machining hull plates and assembling structural detail components, hull structural subassemblies;
- Recognize the assembly procedure for ship sections and large blocks that meet technical requirements;
- Explain basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, and physical education as required.
