On December 28, 2018, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) issued Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH regulating the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation from intermediate and college levels in fields of materials, metallurgy, production, and other technical engineering technologies.
Skills Required for College-Level Building Materials Engineering Technology - Illustration
In the regulation of the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation with a college degree in the Building Materials Engineering Technology field, issued together with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum skills that learners must achieve upon graduation with a college degree in Building Materials Engineering Technology are specified as follows:
- Manage the exploitation and production of building materials, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and regulations regarding the production of building materials;
- Proficiently conduct experiments on building materials: physical and mechanical properties of materials such as concrete, ceramics, glass, etc.;
- Devise and implement plans and tasks: Manage, operate machinery and equipment in production lines (such as clay-fired bricks and tiles, ceramic tiles, sanitary ceramics, construction glass, ready-mixed concrete, concrete components, cement);
- Address basic technical issues arising in production;
- Calculate material mixtures and estimate material costs for unit products;
- Utilize basic information technology according to regulations; harness, process, and apply information technology in specialized tasks within the field;
- Use basic foreign language skills, reaching level 2/6 in the Vietnamese Foreign Language Proficiency Framework; apply foreign language skills in specialized tasks within the field.
