On October 31, 2016, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development issued Circular 33/2016/TT-BNNPTNT regulating the order and procedures for conducting a specialized inspection and the uniforms and official cards of specialized inspectors in agriculture and rural development.

The attire of officials conducting specialized inspection in the agriculture and rural development sector (ARD) is regulated by Circular 33/2016/TT-BNNPTNT as follows:

- The attire of officials assigned the task of specialized inspection in the ARD sector is applied according to Circular 02/2015/TT-TTCP; the insignia for the specialized inspection of ARD is stipulated in Article 13 of Circular 33.- The management and provision of attire for officials assigned the task of specialized inspection in the ARD sector is applied according to Inter-ministerial Circular 73/2015/TTLT-BTC-TTCP.- Agencies tasked with the function of specialized inspection in the ARD sector may use their own attire and color schemes according to the specific field, but this must be approved by the Minister of ARD.- Use of specialized inspection attire:

- The attire of officials conducting specialized inspection is to be worn when performing specialized inspection duties and on the days of ceremonial events and traditional days of the inspection sector;- Inspection officials are responsible for maintaining the issued attire;- It is strictly prohibited to use the attire for improper purposes or for personal gain.
