Regulations on Statistical Reporting Periods in the Education Sector

Circular 24 stipulates:

- The statistical reporting period is a specific period within which the reporting entity must present the operational results through figures according to statistical criteria in the statistical report form.- The reporting period is specified under the name of each statistical report form;- The deadline for receiving reports is specified at the top left corner of each statistical report form;

Additionally, Circular 24 stipulates that periodic statistical reports shall be carried out as follows:

The educational statistical reporting period is calculated according to the academic year and the reporting deadline. Specifically:

- Early year academic statistical reports for preschool education, general education, continuing education, and special education are conducted twice a year:

- Early academic year report: Reporting date is September 30, the submission deadline is October 30 annually.- End academic year report: Reporting date is May 31, the submission deadline is June 30 annually.

- Higher education, teacher training at college level, teacher training at intermediate level, and pre-university education are each conducted once a year: Reporting date is December 31, the submission deadline is January 15 annually;

Furthermore, Circular 24 stipulates that ad-hoc statistical reports are carried out to assist the Ministry of Education and Training in collecting information beyond the regular statistical information compiled according to periodic statistical reporting regulations. The content of ad-hoc statistical reports is implemented according to the written request of the Ministry of Education and Training.
