On December 28, 2018, Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH was issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs (MOLISA), stipulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate level and college level for disciplines and professions within the fields of materials, metallurgy, manufacturing, and other technical technologies.

According to the Regulations on the Minimum Volume of Knowledge, and Competence Requirements for Learners After Graduating at Intermediate and College Levels in the Field of Technology of Artificial Board Production issued with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge required after graduating in the field of artificial board technology at the college level is specified as follows:
- Recognize and select appropriate materials for the production of chips, fibers, laminated wood, and thin board;
- Present the structure of wood, basic characteristics, and properties of wood, and methods of selecting raw wood materials for artificial board production;
- Describe and analyze the characteristics and factors affecting the materials used for the production of chips, fibers, laminated wood, and thin board;
- Recognize the characteristics, uses, and requirements of glue and additives used in the production of particle board, fiberboard, laminated board, and plywood;
- Apply methods of calculating material quantities based on orders;
- Describe the production processes of different types of artificial boards: Particle board production, fiberboard production, laminated board production, and plywood production;
- Describe the features and uses of measuring and checking tools in the production and quality inspection of artificial board products;
- Present the structure, operating principles, features, uses, and operating procedures of machines and equipment used in the production and quality inspection of artificial board products, and methods of preserving finished artificial board products;
- Present the routine maintenance processes of tools, machines, and equipment used in the production and quality inspection of artificial board products;
- Evaluate the quality of various types of artificial boards: Particle board, fiberboard, laminated board, plywood as per TCVN standards;
- Present basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, laws, national defense security, and physical education as prescribed.
