Regulations on Finance and Facilities Serving Physical Education in Schools

Finance for physical education and sports activities in schools is guaranteed by the state budget according to the current budget decentralization; from revenue-generating activities of the schools; sponsorship from organizations and individuals and other legitimate sources.

Additionally, physical education infrastructure and sports activities in schools, include: Fields, exercise yards, multipurpose gymnasiums, training rooms, swimming pools, equipment, and safety conditions to effectively implement the Physical Education curriculum and sports activities appropriate to each education level or training degree.

Decree 11/2015/ND-CP regulates that Ministries, Sectors, and People's Committees at all levels ensure balanced budgets for investment, and construction of infrastructure to meet the requirements of equipment for physical education and sports activities for affiliated public schools; facilitating schools in using local sports facilities to serve physical education and sports activities in schools.

The People's Committees at all levels should plan the land fund for physical education and sports activities in schools according to national standards; implement preferential policies on land, taxes, and credit for private schools to enable these schools to build infrastructure to serve physical education and sports activities in schools.

In addition, schools must ensure the investment and correct usage of physical education and sports infrastructure according to the regulations of the Education Law, Higher Education Law, Physical Training and Sports Law, Vocational Education Law, and the current legal documents.
