Regulations on designation methods in the 2024 high school graduation exam in Vietnam

On March 22, 2024, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Official Dispatch 1277/BGDDT-QLCL guiding the organization of the 2024 High School Graduation Exam. In particular, it stipulates designation methods for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam as follows:

(1) Department of Education and Training code and Exam Council code:

(2) Each registration unit is assigned a three-digit code from 001 to 999 by the Department of Education and Training;

- Codes from 001, 002... to 900 are assigned to the Registration Units which are high schools, continuing education centers, or other equivalent educational institutions (collectively referred to as general schools), where candidates under point a, clause 1, Article 12 of the Examination Regulations (candidates are students studying in grade 12 in the 2023-2024 school year) register for the exam and register for recognition of high school graduation.

- Codes 901 to 999 are assigned to the Registration Units where candidates under point b, point c, clause 1, Article 12 of the Examination Regulations (abbreviated as independent candidates) register for the exam and register for recognition of high school graduation (if any).

(3) Exam Score Code: assigned a code from 01 to the end by the Examination Council.
