Post-Graduation Employment for Intermediate-Level Mechanical Equipment Installation

Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs (BLDTBXH) prescribes the minimum volume of knowledge, and requirements on competencies that learners must achieve upon graduation from intermediate and college levels in mechanical engineering sectors, will take effect from February 10, 2019.

According to the regulation on the minimum amount of knowledge, competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the intermediate level, college level in the field of mechanical equipment installation, issued together with Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that after graduating from the intermediate level in mechanical equipment installation, learners are equipped with the necessary competencies to meet the job requirements in the field, including:

- Handling and transferring mechanical equipment;- Machining fixture clusters supporting installation;- Assembling, disassembling, and maintaining machine component clusters;- Installing pumps;- Installing conveyors;- Installing ventilation systems.

Additionally, the ability for learners to study and improve their competence is regulated as follows:

- The minimum amount of knowledge, competency requirements that learners must meet after graduating from the intermediate level in Mechanical Equipment Installation can be further developed at higher levels;- Graduates have the competence for self-study, updating scientific and technological advancements within the field to improve their level or to study for higher qualifications in the same major, or within the group of majors or in the same training field.
