On February 10, 2018, Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs stipulating the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate level and college level in fields of materials, metallurgy, production, and other technical engineering technologies will take effect.
Job Positions Available after Graduating from College in the Field of Pulp and Paper Technology - Illustrative Image
In the provisions on the minimum amount of knowledge and competencies that students must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate and college levels in the field of pulp and paper manufacturing technology, issued together with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that after graduating from the college level in pulp and paper manufacturing technology, students will have the competence to meet the requirements of job positions in the industry, including:
- Operating the raw material processing line;
- Operating the equipment for pulp cooking, washing, screening, cleaning, and bleaching;
- Operating the thermo-mechanical pulp production line;
- Operating the chemical recovery system after cooking;
- Operating the pulp preparation and additives section;
- Operating the wire section, wet pressing section, vacuum system, drying section drive system, steam and condensate system, ventilation and heat recovery system, surface sizing, calendering, and paper roll cutting systems;
- Operating the equipment in the finishing department;
- Operating the paper coating section;
- Operating the recycled paper line;
- Testing during the pulp, paper, and cardboard production processes;
- Operating the waste treatment system;
- Engaging in the business of raw materials and chemicals in the paper industry;
- Participating in the organization and management of paper production.
