Ozone and Ultraviolet Radiation Data in Meteorology and Hydrology (Illustrative Image)
To be specific:, Article 13 of the Regulation on economic-technical norms for meteorological and hydrological documentation, issued together with Circular 39/2013/TT-BTNMT, stipulates about ozone and ultraviolet radiation data as follows:
- Receiving and verifying the legality of the data;
- Controlling data on paper:
- Controlling ozone data;- Checking the observation date headline;- Checking J1, J2 readings, sensitivity, cloud type, cloud coefficient, observation time, temperature;- Checking the cloud height determination, cloud observation, cloud coefficient recording method, cloud recording method;- Controlling 1-month ozone data report from 1 station;- Making and sending international reports from Hanoi ozone station;- Controlling ultraviolet radiation data;- Checking the observation date headline;- Checking J1 reading, cloud observation, cloud recording method, observation time, temperature.
- Controlling data on computer:
- Controlling ozone data;- Transmitting and receiving data;- Comparing data on computer with SOZ-2 logbook;- Checking recalculation results;- Recalculating data based on specifications of the station reported on the control team's computer and fixing any errors (if any);- Comparing ozone data of stations on the network with international stations collected via internet;- Controlling ultraviolet radiation data;- Transmitting and receiving data;- Comparing data on computer with SCT-2 logbook;- Checking recalculation results;- Recalculating data based on specifications of the station reported on the control team's computer and fixing any errors (if any);
- Summarizing, evaluating, scoring the quality of basic investigation, and writing comments for one month across the entire ozone and ultraviolet radiation observation network. Transmitting data back to the server after control is completed and handing over paper data to the documentation department.
