New Regulations on Organizing Press Conferences Related to the Ministry of National Defense

According to the provisions in Circular 03, press conferences conducted by the Ministry of National Defense are to be carried out as follows:

- Agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense that organize press conferences to provide information to the press must report in writing to the General Department of Politics no later than 24 hours from the intended press conference time.- For agencies and units stationed in the provinces and cities that need to hold a press conference, they must develop a press conference plan approved by the superior political authority and notify the local Department of Information and Communications in writing no later than 24 hours from the intended press conference time. They are responsible before the law and their superiors for the content of the information provided.- When a foreign delegation visiting Vietnam needs to hold a press conference or it has been agreed upon in the delegation's official visit program, the Department of Foreign Affairs - the managing body receiving the delegation has the responsibility to cooperate with the Department of Propaganda, and the Department of Military Security Protection to organize the implementation, and notify the Ministry of Information and Communications in writing at least two working days before conducting the press conference.
