Minimum Skills After Graduation from the Technical College in Mechanical Equipment Manufacturing

Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs stipulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation from intermediate and college levels in mechanical engineering fields will take effect from February 10, 2019.

According to the Regulation on the minimum amount of knowledge, and competency requirements students must achieve after graduating from the intermediate level, and college level in the mechanical equipment manufacturing industry, issued along with Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum skills students must acquire after graduating at the intermediate level in mechanical equipment manufacturing are as follows:

- Ability to read construction drawings and some related documents;

- Ability to calculate, deploy, and arrange the layout for metal cutting, material saving;

- Ability to choose suitable materials and equipment for manufacturing requirements;

- Proficiency in using and maintaining hand tools of the profession;

- Following the correct technological process for mechanical equipment manufacturing;

- Proficiency in straightening, cutting, bending, drilling holes, riveting, and assembling to create products with high technical requirements in forms such as pipes, frames, tanks, bums, bunkers, dust filtering equipment for industrial and civil constructions;

- Ability to supervise, inspect, and evaluate work results in mechanical equipment manufacturing according to the technological process, meeting technical standards;

- Ability to record work logs and report work progress;

- Ability to manage products and product quality after processing;

- Ability to implement industrial hygiene and labor safety measures; maintain a scientific workplace;

- Basic IT proficiency as regulated; application of IT in some professional tasks of the industry;

- Basic foreign language proficiency, achieving level 1/6 in the Vietnam Foreign Language Competency Framework; application of foreign languages to some professional tasks of the industry.
