Recently, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs issued Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH regulating the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in technical fields of electrical, electronics, and telecommunications.
Minimum Skill Requirements for the Marine Refrigeration and Electrical Engineering Sector (College Level) - Illustrative Image
As specified in the regulation on minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation from intermediate and college levels in the marine refrigeration and electrical engineering sector issued with Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum skills that learners must achieve upon graduation from the college level in marine refrigeration and electrical engineering are as follows:
- Ability to read installation drawings of marine refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical systems;
- Organize and implement safety measures against fire and explosion, use of electricity, refrigerants, occupational accidents prevention, and first aid for accident victims;
- Operate, maintain, and repair marine refrigeration systems and refrigeration systems on fishing vessels;
- Inspect, identify, and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults in refrigeration systems;
- Calculate refrigeration loads, select and preliminarily install small-capacity marine mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems that meet technical and technological requirements, ensuring safety for people and equipment;
- Operate equipment in marine refrigeration systems according to procedures, ensuring the optimization of operational parameters;
- Maintain marine mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems according to procedures, ensuring the safety of people and equipment;
- Identify causes of faults and repair common faults in marine mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration equipment;
- Proficient use of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration tools ensuring safety and technical requirements;
- Proficient use of safety protection equipment according to technical standards, provide first aid to victims in emergency situations;
- Organize production and manage the operations of teams and groups in the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair within the professional scope of the sector;
- Develop solutions to minimize hazardous emissions to the environment during the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of marine refrigeration systems;
- Utilize basic information technology as prescribed; exploit, process, and apply information technology in professional tasks of the sector;
- Utilize basic foreign language skills, achieving level 2/6 in the Vietnamese Foreign Language Proficiency Framework; apply foreign language skills to professional tasks of the sector.
