According to the regulations on the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate level, college level in the field of veterinary services issued along with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge that learners must achieve after graduating in veterinary services at the college level is as follows:
- Present basic knowledge of pharmacology, immunology, animal husbandry techniques, and related laws in the field of veterinary services;
- Analyze basic contents of pathology, diagnosis, and prevention, treatment of common diseases of livestock; knowledge on pet care services;
- Present basic knowledge on semen exploitation and preparation, obstetric practices;
- Present knowledge on management, marketing, business of veterinary drugs, and animal feed;
- Describe the steps to open pet care services, veterinary drug stores, and animal feed businesses;
- Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of agricultural extension methods, technology transfer in the field of veterinary husbandry;
- Describe all stages in the construction and implementation of epidemic prevention procedures;
- Present basic knowledge on politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, physical education, and informatics as prescribed.
