The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has recently issued Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate level and college level in mechanical engineering technical disciplines.
Minimum Knowledge Required for Intermediate Level Machine Tool Repair - Illustrative Image
According to the stipulation of the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that students must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate level and college level for the machine tool repair industry and trade, issued along with Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge that students must achieve upon graduating from the intermediate level of machine tool repair is as follows:
- Be able to present conventions, symbols, and assembly tolerances on drawings, and know how to refer to tolerance tables according to Vietnamese standards;
- Be able to present characteristics, components, properties, and the scope of use of common materials in the mechanical industry, how to select materials and methods of heat treatment for machine details and simple tools;
- Recognize the structure and transmission principles of typical machine tools; the structure, operating principles, and range of use of various measuring tools in the mechanical industry;
- Describe the structure, operating principles, range of application, and development potential of some CNC machine tools;
- Be able to present how to select process benchmarks, assembly benchmarks, and measurement benchmarks in the repair and assembly of machine tools;
- Distinguish detail drawings and assembly drawings of simple machine tool parts;
- Describe the structure, transmission principles of typical machine tools; the structure, operating principles, and range of use of various mechanical measuring tools;
- Be able to present techniques for repairing, maintaining, and assembling some parts and machine tool assemblies;
- Be able to present measures to ensure industrial hygiene and labor safety, prevent fires and explosions, ensuring the 5S process;
- Be able to present basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, law, national defense, security, and physical education as stipulated.
