Minimum Knowledge in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering (TC)

Recently, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs issued Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH regulating the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in technical fields of electrical, electronics, and telecommunications.

According to the regulation on the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in the refrigeration and air conditioning engineering profession issued together with Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH governing minimum knowledge learners must achieve after graduating in the intermediate-level refrigeration and air conditioning engineering discipline as follows:

- Be able to present regulations and standards on technical drawings;

- Be able to present the basic contents of safety standards, industrial hygiene, fire and explosion prevention in the execution of refrigeration and air conditioning engineering jobs;

- Understand methods and processes for greening when performing jobs in the profession;

- Be able to present methods and processes for installing and operating industrial, commercial, and civil air conditioning systems, ensuring safety and meeting technical requirements;

- Describe the types of equipment and tools and analyze the functions of each piece of equipment and tool in the refrigeration and air conditioning engineering profession;

- Be able to present methods and processes for installing and operating local and central air conditioning systems, ensuring safety and meeting technical requirements;

- Be able to present methods and processes for maintaining and servicing refrigeration systems, ensuring safety and meeting technical requirements;

- Analyze mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration failures in air conditioning systems;

- Analyze common electronic control failures in refrigeration systems;

- Know methods for updating technical documents related to the profession;

- Present the working principles and usage of the main tools and equipment used in the profession;

- Be able to present the method for calculating cooling loads, select, and preliminarily design the electrical-refrigeration system of small-capacity air conditioning units;

- Be able to present the regulations in work acceptance and handover;

- Be able to present basic knowledge of politics, culture, society, law, national defense, security, and physical education according to regulations.
