Management and exploitation of the database on irrigation infrastructure assets of Vietnam

Specifically, according to Clause 3 Article 33 of the Decree No. 129/2017/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government, management and exploitation of the database on irrigation infrastructure assets are as follows:

- The Irrigation Infrastructure Asset Database is a part of the National Database on Public Assets, which is built and managed uniformly across the country;

- Information in the Database on Irrigation Infrastructure Assets has the same legal value as paper records;

- Information in the database on irrigation infrastructure assets is used as a basis for making estimates, approving final settlements, inspecting, auditing and inspecting construction investment, upgrading, renovating, repairing, transfering, leasing the right to exploit, transfer and liquidate the works and report to competent state agencies in accordance with the law on management and use of public property;

- The database on irrigation infrastructure assets is a public property and must be strictly secured with security and safety; all acts of unauthorized access, destruction, falsification of information in the Database are strictly prohibited;

- The exploitation and use of information and data on irrigation infrastructure assets must comply with regulations; not to arbitrarily exploit and use information without permission of competent state agencies;

- The content, structure, method of data entry and exploitation of the database on irrigation infrastructure assets shall comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Finance.
