Knowledge Volume for Refrigeration Equipment Installation Discipline at College Level

On December 28, 2018, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs (MOLISA) issued Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH regulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, and telecommunications.

According to the regulations on the minimum volume of knowledge, and the competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the intermediate or college level in the field of refrigeration equipment installation issued with Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge that learners must achieve after graduating from the refrigeration equipment installation profession at the college level includes:

- Present the regulations and standards of technical drawings in the installation of refrigeration equipment;

- Present the installation procedure of the compressor unit for systems ensuring safety and technical requirements;

- Analyze the installation drawings, survey the site to plan construction methods and estimate equipment, manpower, tools, materials, labor protection... for the installation of the compressor unit;

- Present the phenomena, causes, and ways to check and remedy faults in the installation of the compressor unit;

- Present the installation procedure of heat exchange equipment and expansion valves for systems ensuring safety and technical requirements;

- Analyze the installation drawings, survey the site to plan construction methods and estimate equipment, manpower, tools, materials, labor protection... for the installation of heat exchange equipment and expansion valves;

- Present the phenomena, causes, and ways to check and remedy faults in the installation of heat exchange equipment and expansion valves;

- Present the installation procedure of the pipeline system ensuring safety and technical requirements;

- Present the working principle of the power system, control;

- Present the working principle of the electrical, control, indicator, and safety equipment;

- Present the installation procedure of the electrical system for refrigeration systems ensuring safety and technical requirements;

- Analyze the installation drawings, from which to plan construction methods and estimate equipment, manpower, tools, materials, labor protection... for the installation of electrical systems;

- Present the phenomena, causes, and ways to check and remedy common faults in the installation of electrical systems;

- Present the structure and working principle of refrigeration system equipment;

- Present the structure and working principle of measuring and inspection equipment;

- Describe the methods of measuring and inspecting technical parameters;

- Present the vacuuming procedure, gas charging, and operation of the refrigeration system ensuring safety and technical requirements;

- Analyze the measured parameters, plan and estimate equipment, manpower, tools, materials, labor protection... for the adjustment and handover of the refrigeration system;

- Present the phenomena, causes, and ways to check and remedy faults during the adjustment and handover of the refrigeration system;

- Present the working principle of the refrigeration system, electrical system;

- Present the structure and working principle of the equipment of the refrigeration system, electrical: compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion devices, electrical equipment, auxiliary equipment, protection, control, and safety equipment;

- Present the maintenance procedure for equipment and pipeline systems of the refrigeration system: evaporators, condensers; air ducts, water pipes, electrical systems, and auxiliary equipment;

- Present basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, law, national defense, security, and physical education according to regulations.
