Knowledge to be Attained After Graduating from Intermediate Automotive Technology

On February 10, 2019, Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs (BLDTBXH) stipulating the minimum knowledge volume, and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate level and college level in fields of materials, metallurgy, production, and other technical technology sectors will take effect.

According to the regulations on the minimum required knowledge and competencies for learners after graduating from intermediate-level and college-level Automotive Technology, issued with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge required after graduating with a college level in Automotive Technology are as follows:

- Be able to describe the structure and operating principles of basic systems and mechanisms in automobiles;

- Be able to look up technical documents specific to the automotive field;

- Be able to explain the content of tasks in procedures for disassembly, assembly, inspection, adjustment, maintenance, and repair of some basic parts and systems in automobiles;

- Be able to describe the basic requirements and steps in processes of inspection, maintenance, and repair of some basic parts and systems in automobiles;

- Be able to outline the principles, operating methods, and scope of use of basic equipment in the field of Automotive Technology;

- Be able to outline the content and significance of safety engineering and industrial hygiene;

- Be able to analyze the basic skills and maneuvers in driving automobiles;

- Be able to describe basic knowledge of politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, and physical education according to regulations.
