Knowledge at the Intermediate College Level in the Field of Electrical Installation and Industrial Control Techniques

From February 10, 2019, Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (BLDTBXH) stipulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation from intermediate and college levels in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, and telecommunications will take effect.

as per the Regulation on the minimum knowledge volume, competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the intermediate level, college level in the field of industrial electrical installation and control technology issued along with Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge learners must achieve after graduating from the intermediate level in the field of industrial electrical installation and control technology are as follows:

- Be able to describe the structure, working principles of electrical equipment, devices in the supply systems, electrical equipment and automatic control in industries;

- Be able to explain safety principles and standards for labor safety, electrical safety for individuals and equipment;

- Be able to describe methods of measuring basic parameters and quantities in electrical circuits;

- Be able to explain fundamental concepts, laws, and theories in DC circuits, single-phase and three-phase AC circuits;

- Describe the technical standards of commonly used electrical materials according to Vietnamese Standards and IEC Standards;

- Identify common failures in electrical devices, their causes, preventive measures, and corrective actions;

- Describe connection procedures and practical application in production;

- Analyze the circuit diagrams of electrical systems and machinery such as conveyors, cranes, elevators… in automated production lines;

- Explain the principles of electrical supply and transmission systems;

- Be able to describe basic knowledge of politics, culture, society, laws, national defense and security, and physical education as prescribed.
