Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by BLDTBXH prescribes the minimum required knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in the fields of materials, metallurgy, production, and other technical technologies on December 28, 2018.

According to the Regulations on the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that students need to achieve after graduating from the intermediate level, college level in the Metal Rolling and Drawing Technology profession issued together with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that after graduating from the intermediate level in Metal Rolling and Drawing Technology, graduates are capable of meeting the requirements at various professional positions, including:
- Operating and adjusting equipment in the metal rolling and drawing production technology line;- Calculating and designing components, main equipment in the rolling and drawing technology line;- Calculating, designing, and developing technology processes and managing those processes to produce rolled and drawn products;- Inspecting technology, checking product quality;- Mentoring and guiding those with lower qualifications;- Participating in research and applying technologies and improving certain stages in the metal rolling and drawing technology process.
Additionally, the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that students must achieve after graduating in Metal Rolling and Drawing Technology, intermediate level, can continue to be developed at higher levels. Graduates have the competency to self-study, update scientific and technological advancements within the profession to enhance their qualifications, or enroll in higher levels in the same profession, professional group, or same training field.
