Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (BLDTBXH) stipulating the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in health and social services fields will take effect from February 10, 2019.

According to the prescribed minimum knowledge and competency requirements that learners must obtain after graduation for intermediate and college levels in the field of medical laboratory technology issued along with Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that after graduation, learners have the capability to meet the requirements at job positions in the industry, including:
- Reception and results delivery;- Sample reception, collection, and processing;- Hematology and blood transfusion testing;- Biochemical and immunological testing;- Microbiological and parasitological testing;- Anatomic pathology and cytology testing.
Additionally, with the minimum knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduating from the College of Medical Laboratory Technology, individuals have the potential to advance to higher levels of education. After graduation, learners possess self-learning capabilities, self-updating with scientific and technological advancements within the industry to enhance their qualifications or pursue further education in the same field or within related fields.
