As per Regulation on the minimum volume of knowledge, competency requirements that learners achieve after graduating from intermediate level, college level in the field of mechanical equipment manufacturing issued along with Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that after graduating in mechanical equipment manufacturing at the college level, learners have the competence to meet the requirements at job positions in the field, including:

- Welding processing;- Machining parts on machine tools;- Manufacturing mechanical structures;- Manufacturing conveyors;- Manufacturing ventilation systems;- Manufacturing tanks;- Assembling mechanical equipment;- Inspecting, supervising, and instructing the use of mechanical equipment.

Moreover, the ability to study and improve the proficiency for learners is also stipulated as follows:

- The minimum volume of knowledge, competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating in the field of mechanical equipment manufacturing at the college level can further develop to higher levels;- Learners after graduation have the ability to self-study and update scientific and technological advancements in the field to improve their proficiency or advance to higher levels in the same field or related fields.
