Job Positions after Graduation from College in Industrial Electrical Engineering

On February 10, 2019, Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (BLDTBXH) promulgating regulations on the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, and telecommunications, will take effect.

In accordance with regulations regarding minimum knowledge volume, competency requirements to be achieved by the learner upon graduation at intermediate level, college level in industrial electricity, issued alongside Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that after graduating from the industrial electricity major at the college level, learners will possess competencies to meet the requirements at various job positions within the industry, including:

- Installation of building electrical systems;- Operation and maintenance of building electrical systems;- Installation and operation of power supply systems;- Maintenance of power supply systems;- Installation of electrical cabinets;- Repair, maintenance, and operation of electrical machines;- Installation of automation systems;- Operation and maintenance of automation systems;- Installation of renewable energy electrical systems;- Operation, maintenance, and servicing of renewable energy electrical systems;- Installation of machine tool circuits;- Repair and maintenance of machine tool circuits;- Product Quality Control (KCS);- Business in electrical equipment.

Additionally, the minimum knowledge volume, competency requirements to be achieved by learners after graduating from industrial electricity at the college level can continue to develop at higher levels. Graduates will have the capacity for self-study, self-updating scientific and technological advancements within their field to enhance their proficiency or pursue higher education levels within the same major, group of majors, or the same training field.
