According to the regulation on the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate level, college level in the field of mechanical equipment manufacturing issued with the Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is defined that after graduating from the mold manufacturing field at college level, students will have the competency to meet the requirements of job positions in the industry, including:
- Mold design;- Machining mold parts on universal lathes;- Machining mold parts on universal milling machines;- Machining mold parts on universal grinding machines;- Machining mold parts on CNC lathes;- Machining mold parts on CNC milling machines;- Machining mold parts on EDM machines;- Machining mold parts on wire cutting machines;- Polishing molds;- Assembling and inspecting molds;- Adjusting and repairing molds.
Additionally, the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating in the field of mold manufacturing at the college level can continue to develop at higher levels. Graduates have the competence for self-study and self-updating technological advances within the field to improve their level or transfer to a higher level within the same field of study or in the related fields.
