From February 10, 2019, Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) regulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in mechanical engineering and related fields will take effect.

In the regulation on the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in the machining and manufacturing field issued with Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that after graduating from the intermediate-level program in machining and manufacturing, learners have the competency to meet the requirements at job positions in the field, including:
- Basic mechanical machining;- Machining on a universal machine;- Mold machining;- Mold polishing;- Mold assembly, adjustment, and repair;- Jig assembly and repair.
Simultaneously, the ability to study and upgrade the level for learners is stipulated as follows:
- The minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the intermediate-level machining and manufacturing program can further develop at higher levels;- Learners after graduation have the competency to self-study and update technological advancements in the field to enhance their level or to pursue higher academic levels in the same or related fields.
