According to the regulations on the minimum volume of knowledge, and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate and college level for the technology and occupation of pulp and paper manufacturing, issued with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the pulp and paper manufacturing technology at the intermediate level is the specialized occupation producing pulp and paper products from plant materials (wood, bamboo, etc.) and from recovered paper, meeting the requirements of level 4 in the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework.
The main job positions in this industry include: implementing labor safety measures, raw material processing, chemical pulping, chemical recovery after cooking, thermo-mechanical pulping, testing during pulp production, preparing pulp and additives, operating paper machines, coating operations, finishing operations, testing during paper and cardboard production, recycling waste paper, waste treatment, and organizing and managing production.
Practitioners in the Pulp and Paper Manufacturing Technology field often work in production workshops, businesses selling pulp and paper products, and quality control testing rooms.
