How is the Veterans Association Organized?

The Veterans Association is organized as follows:

1. The Vietnam Veterans Association is organized from the central level to the grassroots level, including:

- The Central Vietnam Veterans Association;- The Provincial and Central City Veterans Associations;- The District, Town-level, and Provincial City Veterans Associations;- The Commune, Ward, and Commune-level Town Veterans Associations.

2. The organization and staffing of the assisting apparatus of the Veterans Associations at all levels are regulated by the competent agencies and organizations.

3. The Veterans Associations within agencies, organizations, and units are organized as follows:

- The Veterans Associations in central agencies, organizations, and units, where the Communist Party organization belongs to the Party Committee of Central Agencies, are affiliated with the Central Vietnam Veterans Association;- The Veterans Associations in agencies, organizations, and units, where the Communist Party organization belongs to the local Party committees, are affiliated with the Veterans Association of the same level and simultaneously under the unified professional guidance of the superior Veterans Association.

4. In enterprises, if conditions are met for establishing the Veterans Association, the organization is as follows:

- For enterprises with a Communist Party organization, the superior-level Veterans Association, together with the Communist Party organization at the enterprise and based on specific conditions, cooperates with the enterprise to establish the Veterans Association at that enterprise.- For enterprises without a Communist Party organization, if the employees who are veterans wish to establish the association, the superior-level Communist Party organization cooperates with the enterprise and the superior-level Veterans Association to consider and decide on the establishment of the Veterans Association at that enterprise.

Additionally, the Vietnam Veterans Association must operate in accordance with the guidelines and policies of the Communist Party, the laws of the State, and the Association's Charter.
