To be specific, Article 67 of the Draft Law on Emulation and Commendation Amendment 2019 stipulates that the "Ho Chi Minh Award" is awarded or posthumously awarded to the author of one or more works, scientific research projects, technology, education, literature, and art, as follows:
- Exceptionally outstanding;- Very high value in terms of science, literature, art, and ideological content;- Greatly serves the revolution cause, has widespread and lasting influence in people's lives, and significantly contributes to the development of the national economy, science, technology, education, literature, and art.
The "Ho Chi Minh Award" is considered and announced every 5 years on the occasion of National Day, September 2.
Thus, this Draft has raised the criteria for awarding the "Ho Chi Minh Award." The "Ho Chi Minh Award" is considered and announced every 5 years.
