In Article 24 of Circular 75/2020/TT-BQP on taking disciplinary measures, specifying procedures, the statute of limitations, time limits, and power to take disciplinary measures for the militia and self-defense forces, the following disciplinary measures taken against violations against the regulations on the management and use of military weapons, explosives, combat gears, and military technical equipment:
- Management and use of military weapons, explosives, combat gears, military technical equipment contrary to regulations causing safety hazards are subject to warning or demotion.
- In cases of violations under the following circumstances, disciplinary action such as dismissal or stripping of the Militia title will be enforced:
- Holding a command position or having technical expertise in weapons, military technical equipment, and combat gears;
- Having been disciplined previously and not recognized for improvement but continuing to violate.
Additionally, Article 25 of Circular 75/2020/TT-BQP also stipulates disciplinary measures for unintentional loss or damage of military weapons, explosives, combat gears, and military technical equipment;
- Unintentionally causing loss or damage to military weapons, explosives, combat gears, or military technical equipment is subject to disciplinary actions ranging from reprimand, and warning to demotion.
- In cases of violations under the following circumstances, disciplinary action such as dismissal or stripping of the Militia title will be enforced:
- Holding a command position;- During readiness for combat, combat;- Having no positive preventive measures.
