Hanoi-Vietnam: Permanent retention of documents on monitoring medical waste projects

This is the content of Circular 53/2017/TT-BYT regulating the retention periods of documents and professional materials of the healthcare sector in Vietnam.

The retention periods of documents and professional materials of the healthcare sector in Vietnam are issued along with Circular 53. The retention period for documents on medical devices is stipulated as follows:

1 Documents on developing national technical standards for medical devices; issuing professional regulations and national technical standards on medical device Permanent
2 Documents on issuing the list of essential medical devices for units and medical facilities Permanent
3 Records of cooperation with relevant agencies in developing and issuing technical standards and design standards - design templates for medical construction projects Permanent
4 Documents on monitoring medical waste projects Permanent
5 Documents granting, suspending, and revoking registration certificates for domestically produced medical devices, import licenses for medical devices 20 years
6 Documents on appraising professional content for medical device advertisement registration as prescribed by law 10 years
