Hanoi-Vietnam: Grade I Film Editor Technician must have level 4 (B2) foreign language proficiency

According to Circular 46, individuals who wish to be Grade I Film Editor Technician in Vietnam must meet the following qualifications:

- Hold a university degree in film editing, program production technology, or an equivalent or higher;

- Have basic information technology skills according to Circular 03/2014/TT-BTTTT;

- Have level 4 (B2) foreign language proficiency according to Circular 01/2014/TT-BGDDT;

- Possess a certificate of retraining for professional title standards for Grade I Film Editor Technician.

Also according to Circular 46, individuals holding this professional title must meet the following professional competencies:

- Thoroughly understand the direction, policies, and laws of the Communist Party of Vietnam and State regarding the specialized field;

- Be proficient in the specialized profession and effectively perform tasks as stipulated by the Press Law and other relevant legal regulations;

- Have led or participated in at least 04 works recognized by the specialized art and science council or awarded prizes; or participated in at least 02 theoretical works, research on the theoretical science of the specialized profession;

- Public employees being promoted from the professional title of Grade II Film Editor Technician to the professional title of Grade I must meet all the above regulations and have held the professional title of Grade II Film Editor Technician or an equivalent title for a minimum of 06 years, including at least 02 years of holding the professional title of Grade II Film Editor Technician.
