Graduation Requirements for College of Electronic Technology and Building Energy

This is an important content in Circular 21/2019/TT-BLDTBXH promulgating the regulations on the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that students must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate and college levels for disciplines and professions in the field of computers, information technology, and technical technology.

Specifically, according to the regulations issued with Circular 21/2019/TT-BLDTBXH, it stipulates the knowledge requirements to be achieved upon graduating from the intermediate level in electronic technology and building energy. Specifically:

- The ability to present the methods of using instruments and equipment used in installation, inspection, and maintenance for: power supply systems, electrical equipment for buildings, solar power systems, solar water heating systems, building ventilation systems, air conditioning systems, protection, and lightning protection systems; management and monitoring systems for buildings;- The ability to describe the structural diagram, operating principles, installation methods, and inspection of: power supply systems, electrical equipment for buildings, solar power systems, solar water heating systems, building ventilation systems, air conditioning systems, protection, and lightning protection systems; management and monitoring systems for buildings;- The ability to describe the structure and operating principles of components and details belonging to: power supply systems, electrical equipment for buildings, solar power systems, solar water heating systems, building ventilation systems, air conditioning systems, protection, and lightning protection systems; management and monitoring systems for buildings;- The ability to analyze some causes of damage, methods of inspection, and repair of common malfunctions of: power supply systems, electrical equipment for buildings, solar power systems, solar water heating systems, building ventilation systems, air conditioning systems, protection, and lightning protection systems; management and monitoring systems for buildings;- The ability to present the utility, classification, preservation methods, and usage of materials used in: power supply systems, electrical equipment for buildings, solar power systems, solar water heating systems, building ventilation systems, air conditioning systems, protection, and lightning protection systems; management and monitoring systems for buildings;- The ability to present the operation and maintenance methods of: power supply systems, electrical equipment for buildings, solar power systems, solar water heating systems, building ventilation systems, air conditioning systems, protection, and lightning protection systems; management and monitoring systems for buildings;- The ability to present the regulations on occupational safety and hygiene;- The ability to present basic knowledge on environmental protection, efficient energy, and resource use;- The ability to present basic knowledge on politics, culture, society, law, national defense, security, and physical education according to regulations;

Besides knowledge, learners must also achieve the following skill requirements:

- The ability to read construction and installation drawings of: power supply systems, electrical equipment for buildings, solar power systems, solar water heating systems, building ventilation systems, air conditioning systems, protection, and lightning protection systems; management and monitoring systems for buildings;- The ability to create installation plans for: power supply systems, electrical equipment for buildings, solar power systems, solar water heating systems, building ventilation systems, air conditioning systems, protection, and lightning protection systems; management and monitoring systems for buildings;- The ability to install: power supply systems, electrical equipment for buildings, solar power systems, solar water heating systems, building ventilation systems, air conditioning systems, protection, and lightning protection systems; management and monitoring systems for buildings;- The ability to perform regular and periodic maintenance, repair of common malfunctions in: power supply systems, electrical equipment for buildings, solar power systems, solar water heating systems, building ventilation systems, air conditioning systems, protection, and lightning protection systems; management and monitoring systems for buildings according to technical requirements;- The ability to manage, operate, and monitor building systems;- The ability to carry out occupational safety and hygiene measures, handle emergency situations during the installation and maintenance of: power supply systems, electrical equipment for buildings, solar power systems, solar water heating systems, building ventilation systems, air conditioning systems, protection, and lightning protection systems; management and monitoring systems for buildings;- Necessary cognitive and communication skills to address complex tasks, work independently or in groups in changing working conditions;- The ability to develop production plans and manage plan implementation, follow the 5S process;- The ability to use basic information technology according to regulations; exploit, process, and apply information technology in professional work of the sector/trade;- The ability to use basic foreign languages, achieve level 2/6 in Vietnam's foreign language proficiency framework; apply foreign languages in professional work of the sector/trade.
