Funding for the Organization of Award Evaluation and Prizes for the Titles of People's Teacher and Eminent Teacher

Decree 27/2015/ND-CP stipulates the funding for the organization, awarding, and prize money for the titles "People's Teacher" and "Meritorious Teacher" as follows:

Funding for organizing the awarding activities includes:

- Developing and implementing the plan of the Council for the awarding of the titles "People's Teacher" and "Meritorious Teacher" (hereafter referred to as the Council);- Paying remuneration for the Council members, Council secretaries at various levels, and for the verification of award nomination dossiers;- Organizing Council meetings;- Publishing the Council's selection results in mass media to gather public opinions;- Holding press conferences to announce the Council's selection results at various levels;- Organizing the Awarding Ceremony;- Other activities as stipulated by the law.

Funding for organizing the awarding of the titles "People's Teacher" and "Meritorious Teacher" is stipulated as follows:

- The Ministry of Education and Training is responsible for allocating funds for the awarding activities of the State-level Council and other related expenses as per the State Budget Law;- The level that decides to establish the Council is responsible for allocating funds for the awarding activities and other related expenses as per the State Budget Law.

Additionally, the prize money accompanying the titles "People's Teacher" and "Meritorious Teacher" is provided from the state budget through the relevant Ministries and Provincial People's Committees as stipulated by the law.
