Circular 17/2017/TT-BLDTBXH on the Regulation of Student Affairs in Intermediate Schools and Colleges issued on June 30, 2017. One of the significant contents of this document is the regulations on disciplinary forms for students. To be specific::
1. Students who commit violations shall be subject to criticism or one of the following four forms of discipline, depending on the nature, extent, and consequences of the violation:
- Reprimand: For students who commit a first-time violation and at a minor level;- Warning: For students who have been reprimanded and relapse into minor violations which are frequent in nature, or first-time violations of relatively serious nature;- Temporary Suspension: For students who are under warning and still violate discipline or commit serious violations that students are prohibited from conducting;- Expulsion: For students who are under warning and continue to violate discipline, or first-time violations of a very serious nature, or committing criminal acts in accordance with the Criminal Code.
2. The Principal of the School shall provide detailed regulations on the violations applicable to each form of discipline mentioned above.
