Recently, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs issued Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH regulating the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in technical fields of electrical, electronics, and telecommunications.
Employment Opportunities in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology (College) - Illustrative Image
According to the Minimum Knowledge Volume and Competency Requirements for graduates of intermediate and college levels in the fields of refrigeration and air conditioning technology, issued together with Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that upon graduating from the college level in refrigeration and air conditioning technology, learners are competent to meet the requirements for the job positions in the field, including:
- Installation of commercial refrigeration systems;- Installation of local air conditioning systems;- Operation of refrigeration systems;- Maintenance and servicing of refrigeration systems;- Repair of refrigeration systems;- Warranty servicing of refrigeration systems;- Repair of electrical control circuits for refrigeration systems;- Installation of industrial refrigeration systems;- Installation of Chiller air conditioning systems;- Installation and operation of VRV/VRF systems;- Operation of centralized air conditioning systems;- Maintenance and repair of automotive air conditioning systems.
Additionally, the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements for graduates of the college level in refrigeration and air conditioning technology allow them to further develop at higher levels. Graduates are competent in self-directed learning and updating scientific and technological advancements within their field to enhance their skills or pursue higher levels of education in related fields or within the same training area.
