Employment Opportunities After Graduating from the Intermediate Level Program in Pulp and Paper Manufacturing

Effective from February 10, 2019, Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (BLDTBXH) prescribes the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in fields such as materials, metallurgy, production, and other technical engineering technologies.

According to the regulations on the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that students must achieve after graduating from the intermediate and college level of the pulp and paper manufacturing technology industry, issued with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is regulated that after graduating from the pulp and paper manufacturing technology industry, students are competent to meet the requirements at job positions within the industry, which includes:

- Operating the raw material processing line;- Operating discontinuous cooking equipment, pulp washing, screening, pulp cleaning, pulp bleaching;- Operating the chemical recovery system after cooking;- Operating the pulp and additives preparation section;- Operating the wire section, wet press section, vacuum system, drive system of the drying section, calendering, paper reel cutting;- Operating equipment in the finishing section;- Operating the waste paper recycling line;- Testing in the pulp, paper and cardboard production process;- Operating the waste treatment system.

Furthermore, the minimum knowledge and competency requirements that students must achieve after graduating from the intermediate level of the Pulp and Paper Manufacturing Technology industry can be developed to higher levels.

Graduates have the capability for self-learning, self-updating scientific and technological advancements within the industry to enhance their level or enroll in higher levels in the same industry or related fields of study.
