Employment Opportunities After Graduating from the College Program in Food and Food Crops Cultivation

Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs stipulates the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate level, college level in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fishery, and veterinary medicine will take effect on February 10, 2019.

According to the regulations on the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate and college-level programs in food crop cultivation issued with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that after graduating from the college-level program in food crop cultivation, learners are qualified to meet the requirements for the following job positions in the sector:

- Planning and production management;

- Cultivating and caring for food crops;

- Cultivating and caring for foodstuff plants;

- Controlling pests for food crops and foodstuff plants;

- Harvesting and preliminary preservation of food crops and foodstuff plants.

Additionally, the regulations concerning the capability of learners to further their studies and enhance their qualifications after graduation are as follows:

- The minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the college-level program in food crop cultivation enable them to progress to higher levels;

- Learners after graduation possess the capability for self-study, self-updating scientific and technological advancements within the sector to enhance their qualifications or pursue higher levels of study in the same sector, group of sectors, or within the same field of training.
