On December 28, 2018, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs issued Circular 11/2015/TT-BCA, stipulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduating from intermediate and college levels in fields related to materials, metallurgy, manufacturing, and other technical technologies.

As stipulated in the regulations on the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduating from secondary and college vocational training in ship hull manufacturing technology, issued in conjunction with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is specified that after graduating from secondary vocational training in ship hull manufacturing technology, learners are competent to meet the requirements of job positions in the industry, including:
- Ship hull processing;- Ship hull assembly;- Ship launching.
Additionally, the regulations on the learning capabilities and ability to enhance their skills for learners are as follows:
- The minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduating from the ship hull manufacturing technology major at the secondary level can continue to develop at higher levels;- Graduates are capable of self-study and updating scientific and technological advancements within the scope of the industry to enhance their skills or pursue further studies to higher levels in the same major, related majors, or within the same field of training.
